B- Arts, B- Social work
Cert 4 TAE Grad Cert PBSP
Masters Clin. Family Therapy

I Became a social worker in 2004. I am an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker and an accredited trainer and assessor.

I am the founder and Director of Resilience Enterprises; a company based out of Cairns.

Resilience Enterprises works in the areas of Positive Behaviour Support, working with trauma and front-line responders and across Intersectional spaces including NDIS service provision. We are a proud Social Worker based service and we have a dedicated and talented team who work across the Mental health and Disability space with a range of people from children to adulthood.

In my advocacy life, I have won awards in relation to LGBTI-related advocacy. I continue to contribute as an outspoken advocate from an intersectional approach as a peer, a consumer, and an allied health professional.

I believe in joyful lives, and I believe in the fundamental abilities all of us have to learn within our scope of reference, the power and importance of community, self-determination where possible, and that everyone has some ability to learn.

I am interested in human resilience, identity, and intersectionality.

I have experience working across and alongside diverse systems and organisations from medical to NGO, self-sourced funding, to government, capacity development and law enforcement. I believe organisations can benefit from a trauma-informed practice approach in considering training needs and growth and development.
