Hi, my name is Marika!
I am a proud first nations woman from Warramay/Girramay Nations. I grew up in Townsville – Bindal/Wulgurukaba country and now live in Cairns – Gimuy Walburra Yidinjii country.
My passion within my role as Allied Health Assist and and Max’s PA is seeing First Nations people receive support.
What motivates me to be the best I can be is my children and my First Nation mob. I want to be that positive role model for my children and future generations and show them you can do whatever you put your heart and mind to!
Within my role, I also enjoy utilising my professional and life skills to help our clients I also love the flexibility around my family and, of course, I get to work with a fantastic group of people.
When I’m not at work, I love to engage in self-care, play sports, and stay active, regardless of the activity. I also enjoy spending time with my children, family, and close friends, as I value them tremendously.
